Making it worth it

I know, this blog has been dead for a while. I assure you, that has not been the case at our house. Here is a quick update of life at the Benedict's to bring everyone up to speed.
Andrew and Peanut have kept us entertained with music from their rock band. Andrew takes his role as a rocker very seriously. Just look at that stance.
Even when he's not rocking, Andrew stays super cool. Even when he is rocking a dress...again.
We had a train come through our house too. Jacy was the engineer, Andrew the caboose. And how they got little Miss Peanut to stay in that basket is a miracle in its self.
Speaking of the little Peanut, she got grounded from her computer games one day, and was beside herself with misery. Until she discovered she can make complicated games using ordinary objects from her room. Her is one of the many "mazes" she made and conquered. Honestly, the thought and imagination she put into this was enough to make me wanna ground her from the computer for life.
Here's another picture of my golden child, my perfect son, all ready and waiting to leave for school. He is, always, such a good boy.
We also enjoyed this Oklahoma weather to the fullest and flew some kites. Kadence is a natural. She did a terrific job, all by herself. Andrew....not so much. But he looks so cute in that ponytail!!
